Terms & Conditions
These terms govern the supply of heat pump, boiler and geyser services by Reyds Heating Solutions. By requesting a quote or booking a service, you agree to the terms below.
1. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are provided free and without obligation. Pricing is based on the scope of work described at the time of quoting. If, during a job, additional work or parts are required that were not foreseeable at the time of quoting, we will explain the change and seek your approval before proceeding. Callout fees, where applicable, are quoted up front.
2. Bookings and Appointments
We make every effort to attend appointments at the agreed time. Where delays arise due to traffic, prior emergency callouts or parts availability, we will communicate a revised time as early as possible. Emergency and same-day service is subject to technician availability in your area.
3. Payment
Payment terms are agreed before work begins. For larger installations, staged payments may apply. We accept standard South African payment methods. Invoices are due as stated on the invoice; late payment may attract interest at the maximum rate permitted by law.
4. Warranties
Our workmanship is backed by a written guarantee, and installed parts carry the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. See our Warranty & Guarantee page for full details. Warranty exclusions include damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modifications, or lack of recommended maintenance.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel a booking by notifying us as early as possible. Work already carried out or parts ordered on your behalf before cancellation may be chargeable. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable callout fee for late cancellations or missed appointments.
6. Liability
We carry insurance for our work and take care to protect your property. Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed, except where caused by our gross negligence. We are not liable for pre-existing faults or damage we did not cause and could not reasonably have foreseen.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act where applicable. Any dispute will be resolved in the South African courts.
